Clarke Central High School Class of 2026 Vice President Anthony “AJ” Lonon poses with his mother Deborah Lonon on May 23 in Akins Ford Arena during the CCHS Graduation Ceremony. As Class Vice President, Lonon delivered the ceremony’s welcome address to faculty, Clarke County School District members, community members and the Class of 2026. “After high school, I’m playing football at the University of Georgia. High school taught me a lot of things,” Lonon said. “It taught me how to push through the hard parts, and also celebrate every moment, because it goes by fast. But, as long as you make the most of it, it’s all worth it. Photos Iliana Tejada, Grady Dunston, Kye Streetman and Maypop Wren, story by Cesia Martinez
