Sports Staffer Dream Freeman reflects on his time as a member of the ODYSSEY Media Group.
My journey and pathway to ODYSSEY was a bit different from everyone else.
Joining as a senior was a huge hop from being a regular student athlete to being a student journalist athlete. It was a crazy shift in workload, detail and direction of my “easy” senior year.
ODYSSEY has helped my writing, work ethic, attention to detail and public speaking. Over winter break, I was so close to giving in and giving up but, I am so glad that I chose to stay in the program and tough it out.
ODYSSEY has helped my writing, work ethic, attention to detail and public speaking.
I was able to build a strong foundation of family and people I won’t ever forget. It was also great being able to admire my work to reflect on all I had done and achieved while in ODYSSEY.
