CCHS varsity football defensive lineman Anthony “AJ” Lonon Jr. officially signed to continue his academic and athletic career by committing to play football at the University of Georgia on Dec. 3.

After receiving 28 offers, rising CCHS senior Anthony Lonon Jr. committed to playing football at the University of Georgia on Aug. 2.

Clarke Central High School hosted their annual Athletic Signing Day on May 18, an event at which athletes moving onto the next level in their sports were recognized for their achievements.

Clarke Central High School seniors Tyra Thompson and Cameron Mims signed to play women’s basketball at Albany State University and Lander University, respectively.

Senior tight end/linebacker Qua-Von Scott worked towards his National Signing Day ceremony and football scholarship with a little help from his best friend and toughest motivator.
