The Georgia Probe College Fair took place on Sept. 10 at CCHS, hosting 55 postsecondary institutions for juniors and seniors preparing for college applications.

PrideFest 2025: From Athens, with Pride, took place in Downtown Athens on June 7 from 3 to 10 p.m., featuring both a parade and a festival.

The CCSD held a Mental Health Town Hall at Clarke Middle School on April 28 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in the CMS cafeteria as a way to highlight community access to resources.

Dawg Fest: Draba’s vintage market was held on March 23 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 440 Foundry St., providing a unique, exciting shopping experience.

The CCHS varsity wrestling team beat cross-town rival Cedar Shoals High School in the Classic City Championship on Jan. 17.

The CCHS Athletic Department hosted a signing day for varsity quarterback Hezekiah Millender, who signed to the University of Georgia football team, in the Billy Henderson Strength and Conditioning Center on Dec. 4.

The Athens Community Career Academy hosted its biannual Future Student Fair for prospective students and their families from on Feb. 2.

The public was invited to the Lyndon House Art Center’s Student Art Exhibition Opening Reception on Oct. 18, where 217 works of art from K-12 artists across the Clarke County School District were showcased.

CCHS welcomed students and families into the building on Aug. 16 between 6:00 – 7:30 p.m. for the 2022-2023 school year Open House.

The Clarke Central High School boys and girls varsity soccer teams played Morgan County High School in Death Valley on Feb. 25.
