To participate in dual enrollment for the 2026-27 school year, a new law requires students to meet U.S. citizenship or eligible non-citizenship requirements, a discriminatory policy that diminishes opportunities for many students.

CCHS’ annual AP/Dual Enrollment Night will take place at 6 p.m. on Oct. 28 in the E.B. Mell Auditorium and Lobby.

Georgia’s Dual Enrollment program has been amended by Georgia House of Representatives Bill 444, which was passed on April 28. The Bill will reduce funding, and in turn, potentially lower state debt.
