CCSD celebrated nearly 650 high school graduates who have successfully completed the Gifted Savings program, a financial literacy initiative.

The CCSD was announced the winner of the Georgia Charter System Foundation’s Leadership Development Award on Nov. 5 at the GCS Fall Conference and Awards Breakfast.

The CCSD Board of Education approved the decision to negotiate with the Georgia School Boards Association to look for a new superintendent at their Aug. 14 meeting.

The CCSD announced that Dr. Jennifer Scott will assume the superintendent position on an interim basis for the 2025-26 school year.

On Jan. 9, Timothy Road Elementary School was designated a Title I Reward School by the Georgia Department of Education.

The Clarke County School District announced that Superintendent Dr. Robbie P. Hooker was awarded the 2024 Georgia School Superintendents Association (GSSA) President’s Award for the Northeast Georgia RESA region at the GSSA spring Bootstrap Conference in Savannah on April 10.
