Clarke Central High School students attend the first day of the 2026-27 school year on Aug. 5. Students in all grades began the day with Advisement where they reviewed school protocols and received their schedules for the year. “I loved meeting with my advisees, who are now seniors. I was so glad to see how excited everyone was. They compared schedules, discussed their summers, and welcomed our newest student gladly,” CCHS English department teacher Erin Kuny said. “It was bittersweet, though, as this is my last first day with them. It’s been amazing watching them grow up and they will always be so special to me because they’re my first Advisement group.
