Clarke Central High School boys varsity track sprinters Gyasi Miller and La’Gracion Little, both juniors, broke their boys varsity track assistant coach Zay Brown’s 60 meter record on Feb. 11 at the Third Annual Berkmar Patriot Preview. Miller and Little dedicated time to training both during and leading up to the season. “(We did) a lot of conditioning and as far as us running, we did a lot of 350s a lot of (250-meters) 150s but after all, it came down to our starts and our top end speed, and that’s what helped (us) get that record,” Little said.
