A slideshow displays five things to know about the Sept. 11 Clarke County School District Board of Education meeting. Held at the CCSD Administrative Offices at 595 Prince Avenue, the board members discussed several topics, including the issue of school security. “(The BOE has) got to balance this wire act of security, but also (be a district) where people want to (attend), where it’s an inviting environment to learn,” BOE Vice President and District Nine representative Mark Evans said. “There’s a lot that goes into (BOE) decisions.
