Cali N Tito’s is a unique Latin American restaurant located on S. Lumpkin Street near Five Points. The eatery offers customers a fun, family-friendly experience full of culture that is sure to please.
From savory steak burritos to vibrant chicken quesadillas, Cali N Tito’s has truly mastered the art of cooking Latin American dishes. Customers are sure to leave the eatery more than satisfied.
When one walks into Cali N Tito’s, they are welcomed into an authentic Latin American environment with colorful, cultural decorations and Latin pop music that flows throughout the entire restaurant. After paying at the counter inside the small building, customers wait for their food in the immersive outdoor environment of the shaded seating area. Families with children will find a small playspace outside, where parents can enjoy their food nearby.
When venturing to the open eating area of Cali N Tito’s, one finds their famous fountain boat, esteemed by the local customers. The boat is loved by children and adults alike, however it is purely decorative.
The decently priced menu provides a variety of cuisine, which includes tacos, sandwiches, quesadillas and other delicious entrees and sides from Latin America. The wait time is reasonably short (around ten minutes with moderately high attendance), and the service is pleasant and friendly. After a few minutes, one is greeted with a delightful aroma upon the food arriving and will find it to be rich in flavor and well cooked. Along with delicious entrees, Cali N Tito’s offers great sauces and side options that are sure to please customers.
While these aspects of the restaurant are enticing, there are a few things customers should consider when deciding whether or not to dine here. Cali N Tito’s only accepts payment in cash, which can be inconvenient. Additionally, while many customers will enjoy the fresh air and sunshine of the exclusively outdoor seating, it may not be what everyone is looking for.
The environment provided by Cali N Tito’s cannot be found anywhere else. Delicious food is combined with all other aspects of the restaurant, including service, music, decorations and general atmosphere, to create a memorable cultural experience. If the weather permits, Cali N Tito’s is perfect for customers looking for a friendly outdoor-dining environment.
