Clarke Central High School junior Brandon Frazier speaks at the inaugural Clarke County School District TEDx Youth: Raise the Bar 2026 event at the CCSD office at 595 Prince Ave. on May 9. The event was planned by CCSD Governance and Flexibility Specialist Stephen Nobles and featured 15 CCSD student speakers ranging from 3rd to 12th grade. “I think the speeches today have been fantastic. It’s been a range of inspirational, educational, informative. I think everybody here will have a lot of takeaways,” Founding Director of Ted-Ed Logan Smalley, a CCSD alumnus, said. “I’m beyond proud of CCSD. Many educators and many students across all (CCSD) schools put in a ton of time to make today so special. So (I’m) grateful and proud. Can’t wait to see it happen again next year.” Photos by Peter Atchley and Grady Dunston
