On May 8, in the second round of the state soccer tournament, the CCHS boys varsity soccer team defeated Riverwood High School 3-0. CCHS moves on to play Houston County High School in the quarter finals on May 11.

Chad Rhym is a senior at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Ga. Rhym joined the ODYSSEY Newsmagazine as a sophomore and began his high school journalism career writing for the sports section. In his second year with the program, Rhym was promoted to sports editor for the first semester of his junior year, and copy editor the second.
