Tiernan O’Neill is a senior at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Ga. He joined the ODYSSEY Media Group as a freshman and was on the ODYSSEY Newsmagazine’s News staff. His sophomore year, O’Neill switched over to ODYSSEY Online, where he served as Copy Editor. His junior year he served as Viewpoints Editor for the newsmagazine. He is currently the Editor-in-Chief of the ODYSSEY Online. O’Neill strives to foster workplace where both success and failure are accepted and to teach student journalists to be fair, accurate and balanced. O’Neill is the current Georgia Junior Champion Journalist and attended Governor’s Honors Program in 2015 for social studies.
