Students to attend UGA Theatre Department’s adaptation of famous play
by Lea D'Angelo April 14, 2025On April 15, a group of CCHS students will take a field trip to UGA’s Fine Arts Theatre to see an adaptation of Agatha Christie’s “Murder on the Orient Express.”

Submissions for the annual Young Georgia Authors competition are open at CCHS until Feb. 10.

The 2023 Young Georgia Authors writing competition opened for entries on Jan. 30 and submissions are due Feb. 12.

CCHS hosted the first community town hall meeting of the year featuring CCSD superintendent Dr. Robbie Hooker who shared his plans for the school district and answered questions.

The AthHalf Half Marathon, an annual event produced by AthFest Educates, experienced its largest turnout in its 13-year history on Oct. 23.

With the change in CCSD mask and visitor policies, CCHS is able to hold more in-person events for parents and guardians, increasing their involvement at the school.
