You guys, my brothers, have only been in a small part in my life, but I’ve been in the entirety of yours.
There are times when I can and need to protect you, as a part of my responsibility as the oldest of us. Maybe it’s from the monster under your bed, or a pesky homework assignment that you just can’t figure out.
But sometimes, even though I am the oldest and I’m meant to be the one who takes the brunt of the world, it’s you two who protect me. Whether that’s teaching me how to set boundaries with others or not giving me onions on my hamburger, you always take care of me.
It’s always been the three of us. One sibling’s success is everyone’s celebration. And when one is going through a hardship, we all solve it together.
Our trio has evolved greatly throughout the years. Each of us has won awards and honors, but also needed support from each other when our parents got divorced in 2017. This experience affected each one of us in a different way, and while our mother did her best to guide us through this experience, there is something different about the support from a sibling who is in the same exact shoes as you.

After a tough conversation with someone close to me that made me feel ashamed of myself, it wasn’t just mom who provided comfort, but you, Lukas and Evan. You gave me a reason to pull myself together.
Our daily life is full of bickering, as siblings do, but I know that in times of real trouble, we’ll always look out for each other.
I don’t tell you two enough, but I love you. I wouldn’t have any other brothers than the ones I got. Being your older sister is one of the greatest honors I’ve received, and you two have helped shape me into who I am today a lot more than you may think.
