On Sept. 13, Pride Week wound down with a family-friendly Pride Festival held on Washington Street in Downtown Athens. The festival featured music, food and variety of vendors to express Athens’ support of the LGBTQ community. More from Julie Alpaugh

Julie Alpaugh is a senior at Clarke Central High School in Athens, Ga. She was a broadcast member her freshman and sophomore year then moved to the position as Web Photography Editor as a junior year. She enjoys both videography and photography. This year a Visuals Coordinator she hopes to thrive and a photographer and leader in the class room.
