On Dec. 16, 2018, 2014 Clarke Central High School alumnus James Quinton Lumpkin, V passed away. He was remembered by his high school journalism adviser at his celebration of life on Dec. 20, 2018.

Varsity golf coach and physical education department chair Dinah Posey will be retiring from Clarke Central High School in May. She will be taking a part time job at Foothills Education Charter High School beginning in the 2015-16 school year.
