The 2024-25 ODYSSEY Newsmagazine received a rating of All-American from the National Scholastic Press Association.

ODYSSEY Media Group editors attended the 2024 National High School Journalism Convention in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania from Nov. 7 to Nov. 10.

The ODYSSEY Media Group and the iliad Literary-Art Magazine have eight finalists for the National Scholastic Press Association’s 2024 Individual Award Finalists, which were announced on Sept. 26.

The ODYSSEY Media Group placed fifth in the National Scholastic Press Association spring Clips & Clicks contest, among other program recognitions.

The 2022-2023 staff of the ODYSSEY Newsmagazine was recognized by the National Scholastic Press Association as a 2023 Pacemaker finalist.

After previously placing sixth in the National Scholastic Press Association Clicks & Clips Sweepstakes, the ODYSSEY places fourth in the nation en route to earning All-American honors.

Thirteen members of the ODYSSEY Media Group were nationally recognized for their leadership excellence.

The National Scholastic Press Association announced its winners for the Clips & Clicks contest for the fall 2022 semester.  Additionally, student media outlets were recognized for their placement in the Clips & Clicks Sweepstakes. 

Fourteen Clarke Central High School student journalists were recognized for academic excellence.

The ODYSSEY Media Group virtually attended the Fall Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association National High School Journalism Convention, in which they received recognition for their work and participated in journalism workshop video sessions.

Members of the ODYSSEY Media Group are taking part in the Journalism Education Association/National Scholastic Press Association’s Spring National High School Journalism Convention, which is an ongoing virtual experience.

Editors from the ODYSSEY Media Group attended this year’s virtual National High School Journalism Convention, where the group attended sessions and its members won several awards.

The ODYSSEY Newsmagazine was named a finalist for the National Scholastic Press Association’s highest award, the Pacemaker, on Nov. 5.

The National Scholastic Press Association announced nominees for its highest honor, the Pacemaker award. Clarke Central High School’s student newsmagazine was named a nominee.

Members of the ODYSSEY staff attended the National Scholastic Press Association Fall Conference in Orlando, Florida on Nov. 12-15.
