In their first home match of the 2025-26 season, the CCHS varsity girls tennis team will play against Hart County High School on Feb. 25.

CCHS participated in a statewide walkout on Sept. 20, but not every student came to protest for stricter gun laws.

The CCSD announced its STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) Students for the 2023-24 school year, with CCHS senior Patrick Allen named as the STAR Student for both CCHS and the overall CCSD.

United States History is one of the four courses scheduled to take an End of Course exam in December.
