In collaboration with the University of Georgia, Clarke Central High School was funded through a Nation Endowment of the Arts Grant called the “The Big Read” to produce curriculum, promote artwork and participate in other events surrounding the book “The Year of the Dog” by Grace Lin and the Chinese New Year. The culmination of these events took place on Feb. 27.

Sunčana Pavlić is a senior and the Senior Visuals Coordinator of the ODYSSEY Media Group. Previously, Pavlic served as the Managing Editor and Web Master of ODYSSEY Online. Pavlic strives to make the ODYSSEY Media Group’s content accurate, fair and balanced while being accessible and relatable to the Clarke Central community. This year, she wants to create visuals that are visually appealing and add an alternative narrative to the articles they accompany. She has presented about digital storytelling at the National Scholastic Press Association, Southern Interscholastic Press Association and Georgia Scholastic Press Association conferences for the last three years.
