However, this backfires when Ben is found dead in the Bayliss’ home the next morning. Ben’s murder and the hit-and-run leave the reader investigating alongside the characters to uncover the truth about both incidents and their potential connection.

Nonetheless, the ending feels rushed, and though it provides a satisfying tie-up, the writing comes across as forced during the last chapters.
Despite this, “Anatomy of an Alibi” is incredibly hard to put down and a compelling addition to thriller enjoyer’s collections.
