Clarke Central High School junior varsity and varsity swim and dive teams competed in the Clarke Oconee Invitational Meet on Jan. 17 in Ramsey Student Center’s Gabrielsen Natatorium. With the Gladiators placing fourth overall out of 22 teams, the meet acted as a last chance for swimmers to qualify for state. “I was happy to know we finished fourth out of all of (the teams),” CCHS varsity swim and dive swimmer Ian McCracken, a freshman, said. “I would say I did pretty good, I got the state cut in the 200 (Individual Medley).” Photos by Iliana Tejada
