Clarke Central High School’s varsity football team will compete in their final Region 8-AAAAA game of the 2025-26 season against Winder-Barrow High School on Oct. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in Billy Henderson Stadium. The Gladiators home record is 0-4 but CCHS varsity football wide receiver Troy Rucker, a senior, expressed confidence that the Gladiators can end with a win on their home field. “We hope to keep the same momentum from the last two (games for this one) because this season has been hard for us to win games at home,” Rucker said. “But, I feel we can get this win and start preparing for the playoffs.” Photo by Maypop Wren
