Chick-fil-A’s Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy

The restaurant’s 2025 Spring Menu was released on March 17 and while the Sunjoy isn’t what is expected, a pineapple-dragonfruit flavored beverage, it’s still tasty and refreshing. “In terms of flavor, the pineapple presence is almost nonexistent. Instead, the dragonfruit and iced tea notes come through much more strongly, giving the drink a distinct and almost floral taste,” Social Media Coordinator Liya Taylor wrote. On March 17, Chick-fil-A released its 2025 Spring Menu, including a new Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy, a refreshing twist on their usual drinks.
Chick-fil-A released its Spring Menu on March 17, featuring a Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy for $3.29 and available until June 7. While the Sunjoy, which blends iced tea and lemonade, brings a refreshing twist to the menu, it may not be what customers expect.
While the promotional images showcase a vibrant, tropical-looking drink, the actual appearance is noticeably less bright. However, it still has an appealing and summerly aesthetic.
.The drink doesn’t taste like their signature lemonade or sweet tea, a refreshing change for those looking to switch things up.
In terms of flavor, the pineapple’s presence in the drink is almost nonexistent. Instead, the dragonfruit and iced tea notes come through much more strongly, giving the drink a distinct and almost floral taste, which does not match the description from Chick-fil-A of a “sweet, tropical deliciousness.” This flavor however, is surprisingly pleasant.
The Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy also loses some of its lemonade flavor in the mix. While the tea remains prominent, the citrusy tang and sweetness of the lemonade doesn’t stand out. This results in a more mellow, tea-forward drink that leans on the lighter side, making it a refreshing option that fits well with the warmer weather.
One of the standout aspects of this drink is how unique it is compared to Chick-fil-A’s usual items. It doesn’t taste like their signature lemonade or sweet tea, a refreshing change for those looking to switch things up.
In addition, unlike many of Chick-fil-A’s other beverages, this one isn’t overly sweet or bold in flavor. While some might prefer a stronger pineapple punch, others will appreciate its subtle, natural fruit-forward taste.
Overall, Chick-fil-A’s Pineapple Dragonfruit Sunjoy is a solid seasonal addition. It may not be the most flavorful option on the menu, but its crisp and refreshing nature makes it a great choice for the spring season. For those who enjoy lighter, tea-based fruity drinks, it’s definitely worth a try.

Chick-fil-A’s spring menu released on March 17, including the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich, brings an out-of-the ordinary option for customers. “For customers who would enjoy a sweet and delicious entree, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich is a very appetizing sandwich and brings something different and unique to the original Chick-fil-A menu,” Business Manager Merren Hines wrote. Chick-fil-A’s Smokehouse Barbecue Bacon Sandwich, released on March 17 as a part of the restaurant’s Spring Menu, is shown above. The sandwich was released with the menu on March 17, and while it is tasty, it leaves customers with a lack of barbecue.“Customers who are expecting an extra flavorful barbecue tang won’t get that with this sandwich, but there is still a mild hint of it,” Business Manager Merren Hines wrote. Chick-fil-A’s seasonal Smokehouse Barbecue Bacon Sandwich, released on March 17, adds diversity to their lacking menu, but doesn’t fulfill customers’ barbeque cravings.
Chick-fil-A came out with its seasonal spring menu on March 17, which included The Smokehouse Barbecue Bacon Sandwich. Customers will be delighted with the taste and texture, despite it falling short in other aspects.
The sandwich comes with customers’ choice of a spicy, original or grilled chicken patty topped with an adequate amount of Colby Jack cheese, fresh lettuce, a little barbecue sauce, bacon and a well-toasted bun. Customers who are expecting an extra flavorful barbecue tang won’t get that with this sandwich, but there is still a mild hint of it.
While other Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches are plain and have little to no toppings, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich brings a one-of-a-kind and unique entree to the menu.
However, compared to the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, priced at $4.95, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich is significantly more expensive at $7.49. Granted, it has more toppings and flavor than the other sandwiches, but the price is still quite high.
While other Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches are plain and have little to no toppings, the Smokehouse BBQ Bacon Sandwich brings a one-of-a-kind and unique entree to the menu.
Overall, the texture of the sandwich is pleasant, with a crispy and buttery finish. The toasted bun brings a great crunch and although the cheese was barely melted, which every ideal sandwich needs, the fresh lettuce makes up for it.
Although the name of the sandwich promises customers bacon, the bacony taste was heavily lacking and got lost among the other toppings. Furthermore, while the size of the sandwich was perfect, it fell apart fairly fast due to the large amount of toppings.
For customers who would enjoy a sweet and delicious entree, the Smoke House BBQ Bacon Sandwich is appetizing and brings something different and unique to the original Chick-fil-A menu. Although the price and the lack of barbecue sauce and bacon is disappointing, customers will be delighted at the different flavors and toppings they will get with this sandwich.
