The CCHS varsity football team lost a 69-48 shootout against Houston County High School in the first round of the GHSA Class AAAAA State Playoffs on Nov. 15 in Billy Henderson Stadium. Although CCHS lost the game, head varsity football coach David Perno still appreciates the team’s effort. “I’m proud of this team, I tip my hat to them. (HCHS is) really good.
