Starbucks added the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte to their previously released Fall Menu on Sept. 19. The drink was overall enjoyable, but had some absence of flavoring.
Starbucks recently released the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte as a new addition to its Fall Menu, an enjoyable treat for the fall season.
Known for its coffees and drinks, Starbucks officially announced its Fall Menu on Aug. 22, and added a new drink; the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte on Sept. 19. The drink is available in all sizes from September to November, with prices ranging from $5.65 to $6.75.
An Instagram reel from Starbucks showcasing the company’s new Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte, released Sept. 19, is shown. Even though the drink was good overall, it needed more pecan flavor. “With solely a bland aftertaste of the pecan, it was disappointing to not taste the flavor alone,” Variety Staffer Sylvia Robinson wrote. At first glance, the drink looks to be like any basic latte at Starbucks, with the typical creamer and whipped topping, but the drinker’s impression changes soon after tasting it.
The latte isn’t as sugary as most of Starbucks’ other drinks, offering a perfect balance of latte sweetness and coffee bitterness. The texture of the latte overall provides a smooth appeal toward the drink itself.
However, offering more pecan flavor would better keep that part of the drink’s title. With solely a bland aftertaste of the pecan, it was disappointing to not taste the flavor alone.

Oddly, the drink was released a month after the regular Fall Menu. While this may have been an attempt to keep customers’ interest, it also means less time for people to enjoy the limited item.
Overall, the Pecan Crunch Oatmilk Latte is a delicious drink option for people who love the key flavors of the fall season. With a perfect balance of sweetness and coffee, this fall treat is definitely worth it.
