Rising Sports Editor Cadence Schapker ventures to downtown Athens to report on the annual AthFest festival on June 24. Local artist Jamie Calkin had his art on display all three days of the festival which harbored a mix of reviews and reactions from festival attendees. “It’s nice for Athens folks to see this stuff and then for (University of Georgia) students that are returning to Athens.
