Timothy Road Elementary School defeated Chase Street Elementary School in penalty shootout in a fiercely competitive Clarke County School District elementary school soccer tournament final at Oglethorpe Avenue Elementary School on May 17. Timothy Road goalkeeper Davis Brooks, a fifth grader, saved all five penalties that came his way after both teams had conceded two goals in regulation. “Just to know that I was part of the team and got to play my best game at the end of the season (was amazing),” Brooks said.
