After committing to continue his football career at Gordon State College in Barnesville, Georgia, Jewell feels saddened by the end of his high school career, but excited for his future. “(It’s) really exciting but at the same time it’s a bad feeling because you leave high school (after) four years, the people that you’ve been with, (and you’re) going to a new state, new people,” Jewell said. “When you sign, after you sign, it’s time to put in work.
