American rapper Post Malone released his third album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding” on Sept. 6. The album maintains Malone’s unique style of rapping but brings a different trap-pop vibe to the songs.
Rapper Post Malone connects to the lives and feelings of listeners through his new album, “Hollywood’s Bleeding,” which was released on Sept. 6. The album reveals a different blend of genres with an equal mix of upbeat and slow, sad songs.
The album gives off a trap-pop vibe but, with featured artists like Young Thug, Meek Mill, Travis Scott, DaBaby and more, it proves Malone hasn’t veered too far from hip-hop.
His album has currently taken over number one on the Billboard 200, Rolling Stone 200 and Apple Music Top Charts. There’s no doubt the public is eating up “Hollywood’s Bleeding.”
With 17 tracks, Malone is sure to impress fans with his realness and relatability, singing about issues pertaining to relationships, parties, fame and drama.
Unlike his past two albums, “Stoney” and “Beerbongs & Bentleys,” this album is composed of more mellow beats and apathetic lyrics. Each song provides a different emotional experience for the listener which is good because not all of his songs sound exactly the same, different from other rappers.
His mix of genres and beats appeal to not only rap fans but fans of other genres. Everyone is sure to find a song they like on this album.
Prior to the album’s release, Malone returned to number one on the Hot 100 with “Sunflower,” his and Swae Lee’s hit from last year’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” soundtrack. His other single release before the album dropped was “Wow“, which gained similar traction on the charts.
The unique style of rapping and smooth vocals leaves no doubt in listeners’ minds that this is a Post Malone album. It can be streamed on all major platforms including Apple Music, iTunes and Spotify.
