“Still Here” is an app for iOS and Android that allows users a customizable gaming experience.
Last updated on Feb. 9, “Still Here” is a really fun, indie game adventure app. The game is still only out for pre-release, but the graphics and overall storyline of the game are really fun and offer an engaging experience.
“Still Here” is a story of a character named Pip, who has a hobby of exploring nature during a dystopian time period. The game starts with the world falling apart, then the player is transported forward 50 years. Users must make friends with the robots and help repair the broken world.
Users are tasked to gather flowers and other random pieces of machinery as well as other objects. If one is a fan of indie games than “Still Here” is an intriguing option.
There are only two controls for the game, but that in no way makes it any less challenging. The missions are difficult, however not rage inducing or impossible. Gathering the resources that the robots need requires a lot of focus and problem solving, but figuring out the things you need to do is quick if the user has determination.
The maps and stages are obviously well thought out. The creators seemed to have taken their time and really planned the maps and the mission to match.
Besides just the gameplay another reason to play the game is the stellar art style. The maps are dark, but the glimpses of flowers light up the map. The storyline of the game is clearly projected and aided by the style of art used.
The main character has a really detailed design and the other available outfits are detailed as well. The friendly robots have an eye catching design and were each given a sense of character and personality.
This game is great for anyone looking for a semi-challenging, but ultimately enjoyable experience. The combination of invigorating story and beautiful art makes the game instantly a favorite. One can only assume the game will continue to improve before the final release.
