On Sept. 12, JibJab Media Inc. released their updated version of “JibJab Camera”, allowing readers more opportunities to personalize their pictures.
“JibJab Camera” released their newest update on Sept. 12. The unique app allows users to add funny stickers and animated and personalized effects to their photos.
Unlike many apps used to personalize pictures, “JibJab Camera” allows the user to take a picture of their face which is then pasted onto animated characters. The characters include football players, referees and more football related characters. These animations can easily be added to pictures taken on the app, for a fun interactive twist.
In addition to the animated characters, “JJ Camera” also provides users with stickers. These stickers can easily be pasted on the pictures from users’ camera roll, giving the users freedom in which pictures they can decorate.
Another aspect to the “JJ Camera” is the addition of GIFs. In this case, the reader’s face is pasted on to unique characters such as hot dogs, animals and other tailgate-like-characters. These are then transformed into moving GIFs that can be added to a stationary photo from the users’ camera roll.
The most convenient part of “JibJab Camera” is the app’s ability for users to save the unique images to user’s camera roll. With the click of a save button, these pictures can be saved or uploaded the form of a video to a number of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and Snapchat.
