Tyler Perry’s “Boo! A Madea Halloween is a wacky movie with humor, crazy characters and a hilarious plot.
Madea comes back to the big screen in “Boo! A Madea Halloween”. This laughter-inducing film was released on Oct. 21.
The Madea series has been around for over 11 years with its 2005 debut of “Diary of a Mad Black Woman”.
In “Boo! A Madea Halloween,” Madea is the protagonist in the story, unlike the other movies where she is featured as a side character –like in “Diary of a Mad Black Woman”.
The plot focuses on Mabel “Madea” Simmons (Tyler Perry), who was called to her son Brian’s (also Perry) house to babysit his disrespectful teenage daughter Tiffany (Diamond White) on the night of Halloween. Tiffany manages to sneak out of the house to go to a Halloween fraternity party.
Madea has to battle a scary clown in the attic, zombies in the dark woods and poltergeists because of a prank war, while also trying to bring Tiffany back home. The suspense of not knowing what Madea was going to next keeps the viewer on edge.
This movie has a wide span of goofy characters, like Aunt Bam (Cassi Davis), a marijuana addict, Hattie (Patrice Lovely), the cougar, and the smart mouth, Joe (also Perry).
This film also features YouTubers Lizza Koshy, Yousef Saleh Erakat, Lexi Panterra, Kian Lawley and JC Caylen. Other actors include former Disney star Bella Thorne and singer Diamond White.
Overall, “Boo! A Madea Halloween” is a hilarious movie with witty characters, a wacky plot and the loved-by-all Madea. This makes a great comedy for a happy “Hellur-oween”.
