Pictured above is the Chobani Flip Key Lime Crumble flavor which includes key lime flavored yogurt with graham cracker and white chocolate toppings. Out of all the flavors, this one stands out to Digital Managing Editor Aneesa Conine-Nakano the most because of the bright flavors. Fair use of chobani.com.

The Chobani Flip cup gives a spin on the classic yogurt, but with around 100 more calories in each serving than the classic vanilla flavor, it lacks the healthy aspect.
Chobani has consistently delivered quality greek yogurt products to customers and has been seen as the “healthier” yogurt brand. Chobani is available at most grocery stores like Kroger and Publix. In their expedition of the Chobani Flip, however, it stumbles in its nutritious value.
In the past, Chobani has come out with many variations of their classic vanilla greek yogurt like Chobani Indulgence, Simply 100, Chobani Oats yogurts, etc. Most of these variations have been on the “healthier” side, the best deal being Simply 100 with only 100 calories per cup and seven grams of sugar. Simply 100 also has five grams of dietary fiber and 12 grams of protein.
The Chobani Flip collection has 12 flavors which range from 190-240 calories and is priced around $1.20 a piece. The variety of the yogurt is great and most of the yogurts are tasty, mostly because they satisfy consumers’ sweet tooth.
However when Chobani Flip was introduced, it was evident this version was not meant for health gurus.
The new Pumpkin Harvest Crisp flavor totals 210 calories, 17 grams of sugar and has less than a gram of dietary fiber. The classic vanilla yogurt in comparison has 120 calories and has 13 grams of sugar.
Sweet flavors like the Peanut Butter Dream and Chocolate Haze Craze completely abandon the feeling of a refreshing snack and leave the consumer feeling heavy.
However, not all flavors are a bust. Most notably, the Key Lime Crumble flavor is a stand out at 200 calories and has a light, tart flavor. But, if you want the same taste at a portion of the calories, stick with the Simply 100 Key Lime yogurt.
All in all, Chobani Flip is a great way to get a sweet treat on the go and is an innovative treat for someone not concerned with calories. However, for people watching their eating, stick with the original.
