Chick-Fil-A’s new frozen lemonade is a healthy alternative to their calorie-rich milkshakes, but has garnered mixed reviews.
Shortly after the frenzy of Free Coffee February, the popular fast food chain Chick-Fil-A added a new addition to its menu–frozen lemonade, a combination of their freshly squeezed lemonade and soft serve ice cream.
The 16 oz. frosted lemonade, which costs $2.69, can be made either with regular or diet lemonade.
For those trying to shrink their calorie count, frosted lemonade is the way to go. The regular frosted lemonade drink has 330 calories, and the diet only has 240 calories. Comparing this to a small vanilla milkshake, which has 500 calories, the frosted lemonade is a healthier option.
With spring in the air and summer coming fast on its heels, Chick-Fil-A customers are eager for this new treat. However, for those thinking that it would be your classic Minute Maid frozen lemonade or Slushie, this drink will fall flat.
