On Dec. 5, Clarke Central High School battled Apalachee throughout the game with a slow start but fought hard to get the points they needed in order to win. The rebuilding Gladiators pulled out the victory 82-78. Junior guard Rayshawn McCall says that he was proud of how the team played and is enjoying growing close with his team mates. “Slow starts happen to everyone, but when they do, you can’t just fall apart and become selfish. You have to come together as a unit and fight back,” McCall said.
