On Friday April 6, Clarke Central High School students, faculty and locals gathered at the CCHS track to honor and raise money for CCHS senior Grace Byrne. The estimated amount of money that was raised is $6000.

On Friday April 6, Clarke Central High School students, faculty and locals gathered at the CCHS track to honor and raise money for CCHS senior Grace Byrne. The estimated amount of money that was raised is $6000.
Makayla Richards is a senior and is the Public Relations Manager for the ODYSSEY Newsmagazine in Athens, Georgia. She joined the staff as a news writer in her sophomore year. During the second semester of her first year, she became the ODYSSEY videographer. In her junior year, she started the ODYSSEY’s broadcast program, named ODTV. Makayla has attended journalism conferences such as GSPA (Georgia Scholastic Press Association), the National High School Journalism Convention and SIPA (Southern Interscholastic Press Association). This year, she plans to have several PR campaigns in order to raise awareness of the program in her school.
