On Oct. 21, the Clarke Central High School Gladiators will host the Madison County High School Raiders in Billy Henderson Stadium for homecoming 2011. Throughout the week of Oct. 17-21, students are participating in theme days in order to boost the excitement level of the football game Friday night.
Monday, students came to school with minimal fashion, but maximum comfort, in mind. Pajama day was a huge hit, only prefacing the rest of the week filled with festivities.
Tuesday, everyone was seeing double. Twin day was underway for day two of homecoming week, but was still not the best day to come. Use your arrow keys to navigate through the pictures.

On Thursday, student officers of each grade level will be participating in the parade down Milledge Avenue. Right now, they are working hard to ensure that their float wins the parade. Right (from left to right): CCHS freshmen Chyna Brooks and Hannah Welch are in the beginning stages of the freshman class homecoming float.
Wednesday was quite confusing and ended up being a mix of Dress For Success, 80s and Tacky Day.
Thursday, students dressed extremely down for the actual Tacky Day. Thursday night, the annual homecoming parade proceeded down Milledge Avenue, ending on the front steps of CCHS. To liven the student body for the football game against the MCHS Raiders Friday night.

Friday, students decked themselves in red and gold in support of the mighty legion of Gladiators that took to the football field that night. Friday night, the people came by the crowds to fill Billy Henderson Stadium. The Gladiators came to play in a blowout fashion, stomping the Raiders 55-20. In support of Army Troops currently in service, the game ball was delivered by a United States Army Blackhawk helicopter 10 minutes before kickoff.
